Using Assessment for Enhancing Learning (Order Form). The document published in 2006 outlines how assessment can be used in schools to improve learning for all pupils and raise standards of achievement. It covers all aspects of assessment, including assessment for learning, and provides a framework for review and self-evaluation by individual teachers, key stage co-ordinators, subject leaders, and departmental and senior teams.

Managing Assessment for Learning (Order Form). This booklet presents:

• A broad vision of how all personnel in school can use Assessment for Learning
• Easily accessible advice on monitoring the extent to which Assessment for Learning has been put into practice in a school
• Indicators of good practice for all stages of implementation, from the role that pupils can be expected to play to expectations of the management teams.

It is designed to be a concise aid to managers and leaders to enable them to know what to look for and how to prompt their staff to take full advantage of Assessment for Learning.
