AAIA has produced guidance notes (Summer 2007) about assessing children's attainments in the Foundation stage. You can also read the NAA's response to them.

Midlands AAIA has produced a compendium of guidance about the interpretation of the Profile scale points called Tricky Points, developed as part of the moderation process for the Profile over the past five years –

The NAA has also produced additional guidance on completing Foundation Stage Profiles and additional guidance for assessing children who Have English as an additional language

Midlands AAIA has revised its Tricky Points guidance on interpreting the Profile scale points. This guidance has been developed through Profile moderation over the previous five years and has been updated in 2008 following the publication of the revised Profile Handbook.

The North West AAIA region has produced three sets of materials to support the consistency and accuracy of practitioners’ assessments against the Foundation Stage Profile:
