AAIA is coming out of Lockdown with a 3 day conference for members entitled
"Quality Learning Post Covid19:
- creating the conditions for learning that sticks."
The annual members' conference for 2021 will focus on the fundamental conditions that are necessary for deep learning in the classroom, with pupils supported by teachers who use their time wisely and teach the way that learners learn best.
Oliver Caviglioli, co-author of The Teaching WalkThrus series with Tom Sherrington, Alex Quigley of Closing the Vocabulary and Reading Gaps fame and David Didau, whose recent work on leaders creating conditions in which teachers can thrive, will play a major part in the Conference. Additionally, practising head teachers Sonia Thompson and Rachel White will share the work in their own schools based upon research informed practice and the provision of high quality blended learning that effectively engages parents in pupil learning.
Representatives from OFSTED, OFQUAL and STA will also be in attendance, and there will be time for questions, networking and table discussions, as well as the opportunity to catch up with colleagues from across the regions.
For detailed information please see AAIA's Conference programme (updated draft 19 January 2021).
Full 3 Day conference ticket including accommodation. Members only.
