Ofqual – The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England.
Northern Ireland Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) – bringing together curriculum, examinations and assessment, advising government, monitoring standards and awarding qualifications.
Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) – the national body in Scotland responsible for accrediting qualifications other than degrees and approving, and quality assuring awarding bodies that plan to enter people for these qualifications.
Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) is the single voice for its member awarding bodies.
Access Arrangements and Special Considerations – Access Arrangements are pre-examination adjustments for candidates based on evidence of need and normal way of working.
The Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) – The trade association for professional and technical awarding organisations.
