The Assessment Reform Group (ARG) has been at the forefront of challenging thinking and practice in relation to all aspects of assessment, including assessment for learning. Its aim has been to ensure that assessment policy and practice at all levels takes account of relevant research evidence.
While its work has now finished, its publications continue to provide ideas and insights central to the development of assessment practice.
